Safe and certified food supplements
Always choose food supplements that are officially recognized and approved in Belgium or the European Union. In Belgium, these products must receive a notification number from the Federal Public Service (FPS) Health, which guarantees they meet all legal standards.
All ProWell products carry such a notification number. You can find this number (e.g., NUT/AS162/597) on the packaging. The Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (FASFC) is responsible for monitoring and enforcing this regulation.

A strictly regulated market with high quality standards
Be-Sup, the Belgian federation for food supplements, aims to reassure and properly inform consumers:
- All supplements on the Belgian market must be pre-notified to the FPS Health and are checked for their composition and labeling.
- Belgium is considered a "best practice" within Europe thanks to its strict notification system, food safety supervision, and the nutrivigilance system introduced in 2023 for monitoring side effects.
- The FASFC oversees compliance through inspections at manufacturers, points of sale, and webshops, and has a dedicated e-commerce unit for this purpose.
